General Rules

All productions must be original. No commercial or pre-released material.
Remote entries are welcome. Make sure you send a recording (1080p30 video preferred) of your realtime entries via WeTransfer to compos@inercia.pt.
If there are more than 3 entries in any category, the organisers might subdivide the competitions.
Anything that is illegal or offensive will be disqualified or not shown. In doubt, ask the compo team.

Deadline for remote entries and Mixed-in Drone Music compo is October 29th 23:59 UTC+1 (Lisbon time).
All other compos, deadline is October 31st 10:00 UTC+1 (Lisbon time).

Graphics

Any platform, tool and technique is allowed (except photo).
Maximum resolution: 3840x2160.
Please provide working stages.
Will be shown using the latest version of IrfanView.

Executable Graphics

Executable file with maximum 4kb of size that renders an image. Click here for more information.
Please provide a screenshot of your entry.

Photo

Maximum resolution: 3840x2160.
Deliver in high quality JPG.
Retouching is allowed, but please provide the original unmodified image.
Will be shown using the latest version of IrfanView.

Freestyle Music

Any platform, tool and technique is allowed.
Executable and tracked music must be entered in this category. If there are more than 3 entries, there will be a separated compo.
If possible, please provide a mp3 of your track in case the format is too “exotic”.
Maximum playtime is 4 minutes. If longer, it will be faded out.
Will be played using Resonic by Liqube Audio.

Mixed-in Drone Music

MP3/OGG formats accepted. Highest quality.
Maximum playing time: 10 minutes.

Tracked Music

Music in a tracker format (.xm, .it, .mod, etc.)
Will be played using latest version of xmplay. Please provide interpolation and stereo settings, otherwise the defaults will be used.
Maximum playing time: 4 minutes.

Material Maker Fast Compo

After learning the tool in Paulo Falcão’s seminar, you will have one hour to make your own 3D scene.

Themed Fast Compos

The theme will be announced just before the compo starts.
You will have 1 hour to make your production.
You can use whatever medium: graphics, music, even a one-scene demo.
Maximum playing time: 3 minutes.

Scene.pt Remix

Remix any portuguese demoscene production with any tools you want.
Music, graphics, demo, animation, all is possible.
Sources can be grabbed at pouet's scene.pt list or any other place (music compos are not featured on pouet).
If realtime, please provide a recording in H.264/MP4, preferably at 1080p30.

Animation/Short Film

Should be delivered in H.264/MP4 format, preferably at 1080p30.
Maximum resolution is 1920x1080.
Maximum playtime is 8 minutes.

Bytesize

Any platform.
Maximum filesize: 256 bytes.
Maximum playing time: 5 minutes.

512b TIC80

Cart size must be 512b or less.
Will be played using latest public TIC80 version. Click here for more information.
Maximum playing time: 5 minutes.

Realtime

Any plaform.
Demos and intros combined. If there are more than 3 entries per category, there will be a separated compo.
Maximum filesize: 512 MB.
Maximum playing time: 8 minutes.
Please provide a recording (H.264/MP4 1080p30 preferably).
